Richard E. Tubbs

Richard Tubbs has been taking photos for over 25 years. He learned how to take photos from non-credited classes and from publications. He went from the film era to the digital age. Richard is great at seeing the large over-whelming photo and only taking the picture your eye is focused on. The results are awesome photos!
Richard and his wife Linda love lighthouses! Richard and Linda had their first date at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. Richard later proposed to Linda at the top of Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. They were also married at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. They have visited over 130 lighthouses since then. In traveling for adventure, vacation, fun and some culture, Richard has traveled to 24 states (including the USVI) and 8 countries. He has traveled to Alaska and became a member of the Denali 30% club, only 30% of visitors actually get a view of Mt. Denali’s peaks. Denali creates its own weather so it is hidden by clouds during the best touring times. Mr. Tubbs has photographed lighthouses From Novia Scotia, Canada to the Outer Banks to the Florida Keys and the Great Lakes states of Michigan and Ohio.
Rich was raised as a Presbyterian. He has spent most of his adult life attending non-denominational churches and is a member of Northland Church, Longwood, FL. While at Northland, he has been an editor/desktop publisher for the singles newspaper and has done numerous and various Christian volunteer activities. Richard has a BBA in Marketing; BS in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science. Richard has worked as a farm hand, retail employee, payroll employee, and the last 2 decades as a data analyst and for the longest time as an amateur photographer.
